Lots of hard work by everyone involved in the club to make the ground ready for training and the new season.

The Pitch

We have been working on the pitch and the maintenance of the surrounding area most weekends.  Although we train on the pitch, we have already re-seeding the goal areas as we prepare for the new season.  We have also vertidrained the pitch and rolled it.  Everyone wants a go on the big mower and after a lesson from our head groundsman Damon, they are good to go.

The Fencing

To make the pitch secure and safe for our teams we have also been very busy trying to fence the area off.  We have been fortunate to get hold of some steel panels on the proviso that we extracted the posts from the ground.  If that sounds like it may require a bit of hard work then you are right, and it took a great team effort, plenty of heavy equipment and lots of back ache!!!.
That was just to extract the fencing, we then had to transport it all and we have even managed to install some panels as the photo's show.
